JTF Sector 1 Unveils Renovated Base and Upgraded Vehicle Fleet
On July 16, 2026, Sector 1 of the Joint Task Force Operation ENDURING PEACE commissioned a fully renovated administrative block and a revitalized fleet of operational vehicles. Major General Folusho Oyinlola presided over the ceremony and commended the focus on balancing tactical capability, robust administration, and reliable logistics. Commander Jibril Umar Abdullahi outlined the extensive upgrades: new tiling, fresh paint, roof repairs, improved sanitary facilities, a dedicated operations room, solar-powered lighting, cooking gas in the base kitchen, and a 250-metre extension of the water reticulation system. The operational vehicles also received mechanical overhauls, bodywork repairs, and modern system upgrades to boost field mobility and response times.
