Police Hunt for Man Linked to Woman’s Death at Calabar Hotel
The Cross River State Police Command has opened an investigation after an unidentified woman was found dead at a hotel in Calabar South on September 8. Police said hotel staff found her body on the floor in the early hours of the day. Drug samples and other substances were reportedly found nearby, while marks of violence were seen around her neck. The area was sealed off and the body was taken to a morgue. The hotel receptionist has been arrested, while police are searching for the woman’s male companion, who reportedly fled.
