Anthony Edwards Seeks Trust for Child Support Over Ex-Partner’s Gambling Claims
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has asked a court to place part of his child-support payments for his son in a trust. He said he was concerned that money paid to his former partner, Alexandria Desroches, could be used for online sports betting. Court filings say Edwards was ordered to pay $14,000 monthly in child support. He also alleged that Desroches did not fully disclose income and overstated some child-related expenses. Desroches opposed the request, saying her small bets were made out of boredom and that she had stopped using the betting account. She also alleged that Edwards has not met their son or sought parenting time. The claims remain allegations in court filings and have not been decided by the court.
