Ogun 2027: Ex-LG Chairman Predicts Adebutu Victory Over Yayi

Former Ijebu East LG chairman Wale Adedayo has predicted that PDP governorship candidate Ladi Adebutu will defeat APC candidate Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, in Ogun State. Speaking on a television political programme, Adedayo said the APC was losing support across Ogun’s 20 local government areas and 236 wards. He claimed political realignments were favouring the PDP ahead of the 2027 governorship election. He also questioned Yayi’s Ogun ancestry and said voters should scrutinise the background and claims of every candidate before making their choices. Adedayo argued that the election would bring major political changes in the state.
