NDLEA Operative Stabbed to Death During Raid in Bauchi
An operative of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has reportedly died after being stabbed during an operation in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The incident occurred on September 8 at Anguwan Zango in Tilden Fulani. NDLEA personnel were said to have arrested a suspected drug user when others in the area resisted and attempted to free him. During the confrontation, an unidentified person allegedly stabbed the operative in the stomach with a sharp object. The suspects reportedly fled, while colleagues rushed the injured officer for treatment. He later died from complications linked to the injury. Police in Bauchi have launched a manhunt for the suspected attacker.
