ADC Deputy National Chairman Predicts Peter Obi Will Lose Lagos and South-South in 2027

ADC Deputy National Chairman Predicts Peter Obi Will Lose Lagos and South-South in 2027

In a recent interview on DCL English, ADC Deputy National Chairman (North-West) Naja'atu Muhammad said she believes Atiku Abubakar will defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election. She argued that Peter Obi is unlikely to hold onto some of the states he won in 2023. She warned that Lagos is vulnerable and could slip away from Obi’s control. She also said former Governor Wike’s influence will eat into Obi’s support in the South-South. Strong APC governors, she added, will checkmate his votes in the Southeast. Finally, she doubted his ability to secure significant support in the North.
