Kwara PDP Appoints Omar Gambari as 2027 Governorship Campaign DG

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has appointed Prince Omar Bolaji Gambari as Director-General of its campaign organisation for the 2027 governorship election. Gambari was among the aspirants in the party’s governorship primary, which produced Suleiman Bolakale Kawu as its candidate. The party said the appointment followed an expanded meeting of its leadership chaired by state chairman Isa Bawa Adamu. The PDP said Gambari has remained active in the party despite speculation about his reaction to the primary result. It added that his experience in international law, finance and real estate would support campaign coordination across Kwara State.
