Troops Rescue Three Kidnap Victims as Bandits Flee in Katsina

Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued three men during an attempted kidnapping along the Dandume–Damari road in Katsina State. Soldiers reportedly responded to a distress call from residents and confronted the armed group, forcing the bandits to flee into nearby bushes. The suspects abandoned the victims and a black Volkswagen Golf vehicle. The rescued men received preliminary security checks and assistance before continuing their journey. Troops also carried out a clearance operation in the area as patrols continue across parts of Dandume, Malumfashi and Dutsin-Ma.
