Woman Says Neighbour Resold Her Free Wi-Fi to Other Tenants
A Nigerian woman says she shared her Wi-Fi password with a student neighbour who was struggling with data costs. She later found that her router had reached its 32-device limit after her sister could not connect. When she asked other tenants in the compound about their internet service, she allegedly discovered that the neighbour was charging two flats ₦12,500 each monthly to use the connection. The woman says she is shocked that a favour meant to save someone money may have been turned into a small business.
