KWAM 1 Calls for Unity as MC Oluomo and Tafa Sego Reconcile Again

Fuji musician KWAM 1 has again appealed to NURTW President Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, and Lagos union chairman Mustapha Adekunle, popularly called Tafa Sego, to maintain peace and work together. The appeal came during Alhaji Mudassir Ogunlowo’s 80th birthday celebration in Ibadan, where both transport union leaders stood beside the musician as he performed. KWAM 1 urged MC Oluomo to carry Sego along and cautioned those hoping for renewed conflict. The pair had previously been reconciled after a long-running leadership dispute within the Lagos NURTW. Their latest public appearance follows fresh tension among their supporters at KWAM 1’s New Year event in Lagos earlier in 2026.
