Mercy Johnson and her husband, Prince Odi Okojie, have completed a new home for an elderly woman and her son after seeing a video of the pair living in a dilapidated structure. Okojie said the project began after his wife urged him not to ignore the family’s situation. He announced that the house would be formally commissioned and handed over to them on Sunday, October 4. The Edo politician said he hoped the home would restore the family’s dignity and give them a safe place to live. The couple have previously supported widows, farmers, students and other residents in his constituency.
