Selma Blair Detained After Alleged Mid-Flight Assault on Delta Crew

Actress Selma Blair was reportedly detained after an incident aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York’s JFK Airport on Sunday, October 11. Authorities said Blair allegedly tried to open a plane door, punched one flight attendant and bit another. Two crew members reported injuries, and one was taken to hospital after the aircraft landed. Port Authority Police responded after the flight arrived at about 11 p.m. Blair was taken to hospital for evaluation, while the FBI began an investigation. Her representative said she experienced a medical emergency and received immediate medical attention. Delta said it has zero tolerance for unruly behaviour. It is not yet clear whether formal charges will be filed.
