Nelly Says Taylor Swift Paid Him $50,000 in a McDonald’s Bag for Concert Cameo

Rapper Nelly says Taylor Swift paid him $50,000 in cash for a surprise appearance at one of her Houston concerts. Speaking on The Breakfast Club, Nelly recalled that Swift invited him to perform his 2002 hit, “Hot in Herre,” after she and her friends prepared a dance routine for the song. He said she also arranged a private jet for him and his children, as well as a presidential suite. After he jokingly asked for the payment in a McDonald’s bag, a member of Swift’s team reportedly delivered the cash exactly that way. Nelly said he would have performed for free and barely used the hotel before returning to the airport after the show.
