Police Make Arrests After Killing of Lafagu Village Head in Kebbi
Kebbi Police say arrests have been made following attacks in Lafagu and Buya communities near Kaoje in Bagudo Local Government Area. The attacks claimed several lives, including the village head of Lafagu, Alhaji Saidu Mujeli, and reportedly displaced residents. Police say investigations are continuing and more details will be released when appropriate. Governor Nasir Idris condemned the attacks and pledged state support for security agencies. He urged residents and community leaders to remain calm, stay vigilant and share useful information with authorities as efforts to restore security continue.
