Woman Seeks Answers 17 Months After Husband Disappeared Near Nnewi Checkpoint
A Nigerian woman says her husband, Angel Odumodu, has been missing for one year and five months after travelling from Nnewi, Anambra State, to Port Harcourt. She said they last spoke when he told her he was driving past a military checkpoint in Nnewi. Minutes later, his phone became unreachable, and she has not heard from him since. She alleges that the DSS, police and military were unable to resolve the case despite tracking his phone to its last known location. She also said people who promised to search nearby communities and criminal camps collected money from the family without providing results.
