Bandits launched coordinated attacks on several communities in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. During one raid at Mothercat village, they abducted a nursing mother and her newborn baby. A man named Mustapha was shot dead and later buried in Rigasa according to Islamic rites. This incident is part of a week-long series of attacks across six communities, including Ungwan Mission, Ankwa, Ariko, Mothercat, Gadanaji and Sabon Akwana. Residents are calling for urgent government action to secure the area and rescue the abducted victims.
