Lieutenant Felix Isaac Laid to Rest After Dying in Oyo Abduction Rescue

Lieutenant Felix Ademe Isaac, 28, was killed while leading troops to free a teacher and pupils abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. According to local reports, his convoy was struck by explosives set in Oyo National Park. Others say he triggered a landmine planted by Ansaru terrorists. The hostages regained their freedom on July 10. Born on August 25, 1997, Isaac received full military honours at the 23rd Armoured Brigade Cemetery in Yola, Adamawa, on July 10, 2026. He was among the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure the successful rescue operation.
