Police in Anambra State have arrested Okechukwu Igwegbe in Uruagu, Nnewi North LGA, over suspected unlawful possession of a firearm. The arrest was made on September 18, 2026, following intelligence-led operations by the command's tactical team. Officers reportedly recovered a pump-action gun and 11 live cartridges. Police said the items have been secured for forensic and ballistic examination.
