Akwa Ibom North-East Senator Begins Electrification Project for 20 Communities
Senator Aniekan Bassey has begun an electrification project expected to reach more than 20 communities across Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District. The project includes 500KVA and 300KVA transformers, aluminium conductors and other installation materials. It targets communities without electricity and areas where power infrastructure was vandalised. The intervention is expected to cover communities in the district’s nine local government areas. It is intended to support small businesses, education and other activities that depend on reliable electricity.
