Humanoid Robots Join Warsaw Protest Over AI’s Threat to Human Jobs
About 30 humanoid robots gathered outside Poland’s Ministry of Digital Affairs in Warsaw to call for rules guiding artificial intelligence and robotisation. The demonstration, organised by Democratism, was designed to spark debate about how rapidly advancing AI could affect workers and the labour market. The robots carried flags and displayed messages highlighting concerns about job displacement. Organiser Grzegorz Kulis said the speed of technological change means the public needs to start discussing protections for workers now. One robot, identified as an Agibot A3 operated by Delta Robots, said the display was not against AI but a reminder that the technology is already part of everyday reality.
