Is AI Making Junior Developer Roles Harder to Find?

I have been thinking about how AI is changing the traditional path into software development. Junior developers used to start with small tickets, bug fixes, boilerplate code and close code reviews. Those tasks helped people build the judgement needed to become senior developers. If AI can now handle much of that work, what happens to the entry-level role? Will companies continue hiring junior developers, or will the standard for being employable rise sharply? I am not trying to be alarmist. I genuinely want to understand whether this is a major shift in the industry or simply another normal tech cycle. What are you seeing, especially if you hire developers or are starting your career?
