Kano Court Remands Two Over Alleged Killing of Man Accused of Theft
A Kano Magistrates’ Court has remanded two youths in a correctional centre over the alleged killing of a man accused of theft in Karfi village, Kura Local Government Area. The defendants, Manya Usaini and Abdu Usaini Boda, were arraigned on charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide after police concluded their investigation. They are accused of attacking Aliyu Isyaku with a machete, leading to his death. The court ordered their remand until September 23, 2026, pending legal advice from the government.
