Backlash as Interviewer Shows Late Gospel Singer Toluwanisings’ Father’s Home
Celebrity interviewer Dunmininu has faced criticism after sharing a video of the home of Toluwanisings’ father in Ikirun, Osun State. The video showed the ageing father’s reportedly poor living conditions following the gospel singer’s death. Dunmininu appealed to the singer’s burial committee and Nigerians to support the man, arguing that he should not be neglected. However, many social-media users accused the interviewer of exploiting a grieving father and his late son’s memory for online engagement. Toluwanisings died on 14 October 2026. His death and burial arrangements have since generated public attention, including reports of disagreements within the family over where he should be buried.
