Why I Believe the 2027 Race Will Be Between ADC and APC

I believe the NDC faces a major setback ahead of the 2027 elections because it did not field governorship candidates in 14 states, including Kano, Kaduna and Nasarawa. Kano and Kaduna are among the North’s biggest voting blocs. The party also reportedly failed to field candidates in about 140 National Assembly seats, leaving it without a strong grassroots structure in more than one-third of the country. For this reason, I believe the real contest in 2027 will be between the ADC and the APC.
