Should Nigeria Build a Camp David-Style Presidential Retreat?

Nigeria spends heavily on official foreign trips and presidential holidays. Should the Federal Government build a secure, world-class retreat for sitting and visiting presidents within the country? Locations in Taraba, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Jos could offer favourable weather and natural scenery. Such a facility could include a presidential lodge, medical and sports facilities, a helipad, and carefully managed leisure areas. If part of the resort is opened to paying guests under strict security arrangements, it could create jobs and generate revenue. But would the cost be justified, or should public funds be directed to more urgent needs?
