Actor Laide Olabanji Blasts Tinubu Over Nigeria’s Security Crisis
Laide Olabanji, Nollywood veteran and CEO of LAIBAN Films International, has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its failure to protect citizens from rampant violence and kidnappings. Reacting to the recent beheading of a teacher in Oyo State and daily bandit attacks in Plateau, Olabanji chided the government for its nonchalance. Speaking in pidgin, he warned, “On your mandate people dey die…Nigerians are being killed every minute, and you’re not responsive.” He urged the president to deliver on basic needs. “If you can’t give Nigerians good electricity, better roads or lower fuel costs, at least ensure our security,” he appealed, stressing that the nation is bleeding under current conditions.
