Nine Killed in Fresh Attacks Across Plateau Communities
At least nine people, including a pastor and five travelling labourers, were killed in separate attacks across Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State. Five labourers travelling to Gana-Ropp were reportedly ambushed on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, a pastor and another person were killed while heading to church in Dorowa Babuje. Other deaths were reported in Baten Wereng and Ratyidi community. Community leaders condemned the killings and called for the arrest of those responsible. Security personnel have reportedly been deployed to the affected areas, while residents remain anxious over possible further attacks.
