Defence Minister Musa Accuses El-Rufai of Planning Southern Kaduna Killings
Defence Minister Christopher Musa has accused former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai of deliberately planning killings in Southern Kaduna during his time in office. Speaking on a television programme, Musa said El-Rufai’s administration deepened ethnic and religious divisions in Kaduna State. He alleged that the atmosphere made residents from Southern Kaduna and the northern part of the state feel unsafe living in each other’s communities. Musa said Governor Uba Sani has taken steps to rebuild trust and improve unity in the state. He also urged Nigerians to reject politicians who use religion, ethnicity or other differences to divide the country.
