Anambra Comedian Aiza Nwosu Shot Dead in Awka as Police Hunt Three Suspects
Popular Anambra comedian and media personality Isaac Nwosu, known as Aiza Nwosu, was shot dead by gunmen in Awka on Sunday night. Police said another man was also killed in a separate shooting allegedly linked to the same attackers. Witnesses said Nwosu was followed by three men in a silver Toyota Corolla before they blocked his loudspeaker-fitted Hilux truck on S.M. Okeke Street and opened fire. The vehicle reportedly rolled into a ditch after the attack. The Anambra State Police Command has condemned the killings and launched a manhunt for the suspects. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, while the motive for the attacks remains unknown.
