BBNaija: Aikou’s Team Accuses Bells and Ricky of Spreading Unverified Sexuality Claims

Aikou’s management has accused BBNaija Season 11 housemates Bells and Ricky of repeatedly telling other contestants that Aikou is gay. In a statement, the team said the alleged remarks were unverified personal assumptions. It stressed that Aikou’s friendships, letters and way of expressing affection do not give anyone the right to publicly define his sexuality. The management urged the two housemates to respect Aikou’s boundaries, warning that repeatedly spreading personal claims about someone’s identity can cause harm. The statement described the alleged conduct as defamation of character. BBNaija Season 11 premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize.
