Elon Musk has criticised reports that House Democrats may investigate his government role and business interests if they regain control of Congress. The reported inquiries could examine DOGE’s role in dismantling congressionally authorised agencies, possible conflicts involving Musk’s companies and claims that Ukraine’s access to Starlink was restricted. Musk said he would pursue those behind attempts to investigate him. He also disputed reports that he ordered a Starlink slowdown affecting Ukraine. Musk said decisions on the military-focused Starshield service were made by the US military and the president, while commercial Starlink is limited to civilian and defensive use.
