JAMB Plans Ottawa UTME Centre for Nigerians in Canada From 2027
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it plans to open a Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination centre in Ottawa, Canada, in 2027. The centre is expected to allow eligible Nigerians in Canada and other parts of North America to sit for the UTME without travelling to Nigeria. It is aimed at candidates seeking admission into Nigerian universities and other tertiary institutions. JAMB said the initiative would improve access to Nigerian tertiary education for Nigerians in the diaspora and strengthen their connection with the country’s education system.
