14-Year-Old Eghosa Ogbebor Killed in Woolwich Shooting

A 14-year-old boy has been identified as Eghosa Ogbebor. He died after being shot on Lord Warwick Street in Woolwich. Officers arrived at about 15:40 BST. Paramedics treated him but he died at the scene. His family has been informed, police said. A 14-year-old, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Detectives are urging anyone with information or dashcam and CCTV footage to come forward. Witnesses at a nearby pub described hearing loud bangs and running indoors in panic. The mayor and local police have expressed condolences and increased patrols remain in the area.
