Nigerian Man Jailed in UK for Indecent Act on Train
A 36-year-old Nigerian man, Babatunde Odutola, has been sentenced to 44 weeks in prison after exposing himself and committing an indecent act in front of a woman on a train travelling towards Manchester Piccadilly. The incident happened on September 11. The woman was travelling alone when Odutola allegedly approached her, acted aggressively after she refused to engage with him, and later targeted her inside the carriage. Another passenger helped the distressed woman leave the area. Police arrested Odutola when the train arrived at Manchester Piccadilly. CCTV footage and witness accounts were presented as evidence. He pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and breaching a suspended sentence order.
