Nigerian and African Models to Watch This SS27 Fashion Season

African models are drawing attention across the SS27 runways in New York, London and Milan. Their appearances at major fashion houses reflect the growing visibility of African talent in global fashion. Nigerian models Faith Johnson, Ama Okolo, Mayowa Adagunduro and Nyekachi Douglas have all made notable appearances this season. Johnson has walked for Alexander McQueen, Altuzarra, Calvin Klein and Prada, while Okolo, Adagunduro and Douglas have also featured in prominent runway presentations. South Sudanese models Aluel Makuach, Naomi Apajok and Agel Akol, alongside Kenyan model Caren Jepkemei, are also building strong show lists. With Milan continuing and Paris Fashion Week ahead, more appearances are expected from these rising and established African faces.
