87-Year-Old Woman Found Dead With Machete Injuries in Jos Forest Reserve
An 87-year-old woman, Mrs Kande Bulus, was found dead near a stream in the Wildlife Park Forest Reserve in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The discovery was reported on September 16, 2026. Security personnel from Sector 3 of Operation ENDURING PEACE responded after family members raised the alarm. She had reportedly left her home in Dong Kassa for the reserve and did not return. Her relatives searched for her and found her body with machete injuries to her arm and face. Security authorities have begun an investigation to establish the circumstances of her death and identify anyone involved.
