Enough Rhetoric, Act Now — Atiku Demands Tinubu’s Response to Renewed Attacks
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged President Bola Tinubu to take immediate action against a recent wave of attacks in Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa and Kaduna States. He reminded the president of his earlier promise that the Angwan Rukuba attack would not recur. Barely 72 hours later, another deadly assault in Benue claimed over a dozen lives. Atiku also warned that families in a Nasarawa community were forced to flee their homes under threat of violence. He described a fresh incident in Kaduna State over the weekend as deeply troubling. “You must match words with concrete steps,” he said. “Enough of these hollow rhetoric, Mr. President. It is time to fold your sleeves and get to work.” He extended his sympathies to families who lost loved ones in the attacks.
