Police in Navi Mumbai, India, say they arrested a 41-year-old Nigerian man after recovering mephedrone and cocaine reportedly valued at about ₦492 million. Officers said the arrest followed a tip-off near Taloja on the Panvel-Mumbra highway. They reportedly found 211 grams of mephedrone on him before searching his residence, where more suspected drugs were seized. The suspect was charged under India’s narcotics law. Police said he had previously been arrested in a drug-related case in 2019 and was released on bail last year.
