Asake’s fourth studio album, M$NEY, explores wealth, gratitude, faith, romance and the pressures that come with global success. Across 13 tracks, he sounds less focused on proving himself and more interested in understanding the life he has built. The project retains the Amapiano log drums, Fuji influences, layered vocals and chant-driven hooks that shaped his earlier work. However, the production is smoother and more spacious, with electronic elements, horns, keys and live textures taking a bigger role. Songs such as “WORSHIP,” “Gratitude,” “Amen” and “Forgiveness” balance ambition with reflection, while “Oba,” “BADMAN GANGSTA” and “Asambe” lean into confidence, movement and celebration. Features from DJ Snake, Tiakola and Kabza De Small expand the album’s sound without taking away Asake’s identity. M$NEY may not have the raw urgency of Asake’s earlier albums, but it presents a more settled artist learning to live with success while still searching for meaning, connection and peace.
