Oluremi Tinubu to Visit Anambra September 10, Empower 5,000 Residents
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is scheduled to visit Anambra State on September 10, 2026. It will be her first official visit to the state since becoming First Lady. The visit will feature an empowerment programme for 5,000 residents through the Progressives United Against Poverty Initiative and the Renewed Hope Initiative Economic Support Scheme. The programme is intended to support vulnerable households with opportunities to improve their livelihoods. She is also expected to launch the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East in Anambra and commission projects at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko. The events are part of ongoing federal and state efforts on food security, poverty reduction and economic empowerment.
