Jared Leto Faces Fresh Sexual Misconduct Allegations From Four Women
Actor and musician Jared Leto is facing fresh allegations from women who say he sexually assaulted them or threatened sexual assault when they were teenagers, according to a BBC documentary. The programme features 10 women, with four alleging criminal sexual misconduct. Their accounts include allegations of assault, threats, explicit calls and sexual encounters when they were below the age of consent. The BBC said it reviewed messages, photographs and accounts from friends and relatives that supported parts of the allegations. Former staff linked to Thirty Seconds to Mars also claimed they were uncomfortable with Leto's interactions with teenage girls. Leto's representatives previously denied earlier allegations, describing them as false. They had reportedly not responded to requests for comment on the documentary at the time of publication.
