Trump Reportedly Orders US Agencies to Use ‘Super Intelligence’ Instead of AI

A report says US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order directing federal agencies to replace the terms “artificial intelligence” and “AI” with “Super Intelligence” and “SI” in future official communications. The order reportedly argues that modern AI systems now go beyond automating limited human tasks. Existing regulations, contracts and documents using the term AI would not need to be changed. Trump’s science and technology adviser, Michael Kratsios, was also asked to consult agencies on how the new terminology would align with existing legal definitions. The reported change comes as governments and technology companies continue to debate the regulation and safety of advanced AI systems.
