Nasarawa Police Arrest Four Over Alleged Plot to Kidnap, Kill Businessman After Ransom

The Nasarawa State Police Command says it has arrested four suspects over an alleged plot to abduct a businessman in Obi Local Government Area and kill him after collecting ransom. Police said the State Intelligence Department in Lafia acted on credible intelligence to arrest the suspects, all said to be from Adudu District. Two were arrested on September 19, while the others were picked up on September 22 and 23. The command said the planned victim was Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Alhaji Na'iye. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Lafia for further investigation and possible prosecution. Residents have been urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the police.
