I Saw My Campus Cult Killer at a UK Mall – Is Karma Dead?
I was at a shopping centre in Dartford near London to buy parts for my Dyson. A man behind the counter looked painfully familiar, but I couldn’t place him. My mind raced back to 2002 at the University of Nigeria’s Enugu campus. Cult violence from neighbouring ESUT was at its peak. I witnessed a student dragged into the street, battered, shot in the leg and finally killed at point-blank range. When a woman at the counter called him “Emeka,” I realised he was the same attacker. He now holds his young daughter in his arms. I stood there, wondering why karma never caught up.
