Ogun Police Rescue Three Children, Arrest Suspects Over Alleged Child Trafficking
Ogun State Police Command says it has rescued three children and arrested suspects linked to an alleged child-stealing and trafficking network. Police said the operation followed an intelligence-led investigation. One suspect reportedly led detectives to a residence where two girls and a boy were found. Preliminary findings indicate that one of the children was allegedly sold for ₦500,000, while another was allegedly abducted after leaving home. The circumstances surrounding the third child are still being investigated. The suspects are in custody, while the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation.
