INEC Denies Claims That Voter Register Was Not Displayed in Parts of Lagos

The Independent National Electoral Commission has denied reports that the voters’ register was not displayed at registration centres in Alimosho and Shomolu Local Government Areas of Lagos State. INEC said the display exercise was conducted across all 245 registration areas in the state, including every ward in the two councils mentioned in the report. The commission urged residents and media organisations to rely on verified official information, stressing that accurate reporting is important to public confidence in the electoral process.
