Ododo Donates ₦35m to Takete-Ide Town Hall, Pledges Action on Road

Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo announced a personal donation of ₦35 million towards completing Takete-Ide’s town hall during the community’s centenary celebration on Saturday, October 31. He was represented at the event by the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Aliyu Umar Yusuf. Ododo also pledged to address the poor condition of the Orokere-Ayede-Takete-Ide-Aghara road, including the Owowo Bridge. He said engineers were assessing the situation and that the road would be attended to in due course. The celebration marked 100 years since Takete-Ide Amuro settled in its present location. The week-long event included cultural displays and fundraising for the town hall and palace projects, as community leaders called for unity and continued self-help.
