TikTok User Alleges ₦1 Million Loss After Using Roadside POS Operator

A TikTok user says he lost ₦1 million after withdrawing cash with his FCMB card from a roadside POS operator while travelling. He said the withdrawal initially appeared normal, but he later received an alert for an unauthorised ₦1 million transaction. According to him, his bank linked the transaction to the last POS terminal he used, and the money was reportedly sent to a betting account. He believes his card details may have been compromised and has advised Nigerians to be cautious when using roadside POS operators, especially those without a physical shop.
