AIPROW and Ibusa Association USA Provide Free Healthcare, Mentoring and Disability Support in Ibusa
Hundreds of Ibusa residents benefited from a three-day health and empowerment outreach organised by the Association of Ibusa Professional Women and the Ibusa Association USA. The programme, held from October 1 to 3, offered free medical consultations, screenings and mental health awareness sessions. More than 48 volunteer health professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists and laboratory technicians, provided services during the outreach. Over 800 students also joined mentoring and career sessions on leadership, online safety, artificial intelligence, drug-abuse prevention and future opportunities. The organisers distributed wheelchairs, walkers, canes and other assistive devices to persons living with disabilities. Community leaders commended the intervention as a boost for healthcare, education and inclusion in Ibusa.
