Plateau Farmer Injured After Alleged Dispute Over Cattle Grazing in Bokkos
A farmer, Sarah Luka, was injured after an alleged attack in Josho village, Daffo District, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident reportedly occurred at about 5:15 p.m. on September 16, 2026, following a dispute over cattle grazing on her farmland. The attackers were alleged to be herders and had fled before security personnel arrived. Troops of Sector 5 of Operation Enduring Peace evacuated Luka to a hospital for treatment. Security personnel have begun efforts to identify and apprehend the suspects.
